Home Care Providers

There are many home care providers across PEI. These are unlicensed homes within which caregivers provide child care to a maximum of 5 children. Ratios do apply in these settings.

If you are a parent wishing to investigate this option of care, please contact our office and we will do our best to provide you with the name and number of a provider in your area.

As these programs are not licensed it is the sole responsibility of families to ensure the health and safety of your children.

The Early Childhood Development Association is creating a list of home based child care providers and those who offer extended hours, overnight or weekend care.
