Selecting the professional career of early learning and child care is rewarding, challenging and inspiring. The profession is ever advancing and maturing in recognition and societial value. The professional expectations for those working in the profession include staying current with best practice, being commited as an individual to life long learning and consistantly connecting with colleagues in the field to exchange knowledge and further develop as an educator.
This section of the ECDA website is intended to provide information, support, networking opportunities and a professional platform for discussion.
The following pages are for members only which require you log in using either your individual membership or centre membership to view pages such as:
- Discussion Forum, a platform for members to post thoughts for discussion. This section can only be viewed by members. Discuss topics such as centre policies, project ideas, recent research or articles, or perhaps seek advice on environments or programs.
- Frequently Asked Questions, a platform to ask your questions among your peers, as these can only be viewed by memebrs. Review the history of the previous questions asked and perhaps find your answer. Questions will be answered by the most appropriate person, perhaps ECDA volunteers, Staff, Bridges members, communty expert.
- Centre members have access to view the Supervisor's Network information, Human Resource informationand the opportunty to plan and everyone has the opportunity to utilize the on-line meeting space to plan a meeting and have your own private networking session.
