What Happened to Everything I Learned in College (WHTEILIC) Article Club

Milestones Early Years Centre (247 Mason Road, Stratford) will be hosting the Article Club on Tuesday May 30th! Come by at 6:00 pm to tour the centre and learn a little bit about the program, ask questions, and take notes of new ideas! Then at 6:30 pm we will gather round to discuss this month's hot topic article and snack on some munchies! This club is open for anyone to attend.

Educator Article Club: the role of early childhood is complex and involves a variety of environments, relationships and specialized skills to developing, implementing and nurturing innovative inclusive programs and practices that inspire children to reach for the stars and help PEI families make the early years count. To help focus the discussions in these article clubs we will select articles based on the following learning principles:

This club meeting will focus on Experiences! Experiences are what make us who we are. This gathering of professionals will explore articles and share ideas and innovative professional practices associated to educators role in creating and providing a variety of explorations and experiences to expand children's abilities and love of learning. For this gathering we will explore teaching approaches and balancing child- directed and teacher-directed approaches! When you register for this very fun event we will send you the article for your reading pleasure prior to the article club event.

Everyone will come to the Article Club ready to debate and discuss the ideas in the article, and get some new ideas, and some yummy treats along the way! Every month we will hold the meeting at a different centre so educators can explore each unique centre's set up. Come get inspired!
